Widely renown and sought after for her passionate performances, cellist Gonca Huff performs, teaches, and lives in the Mid South.  Gonca is a native of Ankara, Turkey, where she served as principal cellist for the Adana Symphony Orchestra and the New Adana Chamber Orchestra. She perfected her skills studying with the great European cellists.  She also was professor of cello at the Adana Conservatory. Gonca moved to the US about fourteen years ago to advance her education and took her Masters of Music degree at Western Michigan University.

Now residing and working in Huntsville, Alabama, Gonca is devoting more of her time to teaching at A&M University and Smith String Studio. She performs regularly with area symphonies, ensembles, and churches. Gonca's Blue Sky Strings group is available for weddings and special occasions.

Gonca loves North Alabama, the gentle mountains, the warm and giving people, and the cultural diversity.  It is from this diversity that she draws her inspiration and soulful sound that has become her unique musical signature.

New - Gonca now offers video cello lessons.
